5. Chong Qing Grilled Fish
With the great obsession of mala craze in Singapore or even nation-wide, a must-try dish from Chong Qing- the Grilled Fish. It is a legendary imperial dish during the Three Kingdoms period.
That goes without saying that you should bring the “King” for such delicacy especially if he’s a fish lover and spice up his life with the numbing sensation. A reasonable selection of fish type to go with the broth flavour – Golden snapper, Sea bass, and Patin fish. Typically served with dried chilis and peppercorns, just like the widely popular Sichuan hotpot is one of the popular flavours ever. In fact, there are also other choice of flavours such as fermented black bean, pickled cabbage, hot and sour, fresh chilies etc.
Not only that, you can also choose the level of spiciness and additional ingredients to add on. They also cater other sumptuous popular dishes commonly found in the Southern West China.
These will hopefully light the king up with his day by filling up his stomach with Chinese delicacy indulging and visualizing on a sumptuous treat on a trip in China.
Here’s also some activities ideas that you can take reference from like an island getaway for a day -Sentosa!! From 18-19 June 2022, there are also some events line up preparation for Father’s Day. Challenge your dad at King of Hammers and Claw Machine and stand a chance to win Sentosa premiums. Or if you want to keep fit and stay healthy with your hero, you are strongly encouraged to go for some trails to enjoy nature and scenic view of Sentosa. Another level of mingling session to make the day well spent and memorable.
Something out of the norm would be travel through history at Fort Siloso with your superdad. It’s great discovery to experience what it was like at the Battle of Singapore during WW2.
