Eager to know how Easter is celebrated in Taiwan? Will it be the same as how it is like in Singapore with activities filled sessions and scrumptious Sunday brunches?

Easter day Is not commonly celebrated in Taiwan as it falls within the same period of other holidays such as Tomb Sweeping and Children’s Day.  

Continuing the celebration of Children’s Day, there’s a meaningful event related to Easter Day- TOYOTA love sharing Toy Easter – 7th anniversary with 15 city tours around Taiwan. The event allows both children and their parents with handmade experience of toys and to promote sustainability concept by widely introducing toy bank to encourage toy recycling.

In collaboration with Toyota, they also provide donation channels for the public, so they are free to donate unwanted toys or hands down to others via this channel. Toyota service factory will then do the necessary cleaning and sorting of the toys to send to the community service centres for elderly and kids.

Exhibition will be held from 2 April 20222 July 2022

Aside, there’s also “Hello Taiwan Easter Egg Hunt 2022” event, which will be happening on upcoming Saturday, April 16, 2pm, organized by Hello Taiwan to be held in New York this year. The fund raised will be donated to needy associations like humanitarian relief in Ukraine and the December 2021 Tornado outbreak.  This meaningful charity event also presents a warm gesture to allow children by showing love and concern to people in need and essentially to understand the idea of giving and sharing to the community.
